Standard modular bricks require approximately 7 bricks per square foot when accounting for standard 3/8-inch mortar joints. Standard 8×16-inch concrete blocks (CMU) require exactly 1.125 blocks per square foot of wall surface. We include a built-in 5% waste buffer to make sure you round up to safe quantities before ordering delivery.
