Why we built this

Most material calculators online are cluttered with ads or ask you to sign up just to do basic math. MaterialSnap is the opposite: type in your numbers, get your answer, done. No accounts, no popups, no tracking.

How the calculations work

Each calculator uses standard industry coverage rates (like 9 sq ft per roll of sod, or 350 sq ft per gallon of paint) with a small buffer built in for waste and cuts. These are estimates meant to get you close — always check your specific product's label for exact coverage, since materials vary by brand.
